Tracy Lawrence
Tracy Lawrence crashed into the country music scene in 1991 and has racked up hits, including “Find Out Who Your Friends Are,” “Til I was a Daddy Too,” “Sticks and Stones” and “Time Marches On.” Most recently, Lawrence won the 2007 CMA Award for Musical Event of the Year for the re-release of “Find out Who Your Friends Are” in collaboration with Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney.
Lawrence’s early success did not go unnoticed. In 1993, he was named the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Male Vocalist and Best New Artist. By the time his third album came out in 1995, his first two albums had already sold three million copies.
His success continued to grow and today Lawrence has released 14 albums and more than 20 top-thirty singles, including 16 number-one songs. “For the Love,” Lawrence’s most recent album, is the first release on his own record label, Rocky Comfort Records.
Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton enjoyed early success with his first three number-one hit singles, “Austin,” “The Baby” and “Some Beach.” His most recent hit, “The More I Drink” has enjoyed impressive placement on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart and extensive radio play across the country.
A young Oklahoma star, Blake Shelton was barely out of high school when he moved to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. A few years later, Shelton’s self-titled debut album landed him his first hit single. “Austin” stayed at number-one for five weeks, tying Billboard’s record for a debut single.
Shelton released his next chart-topper, “The Baby,” on his second album. His third album produced three more top-ten hits, including another number-one hit, “Some Beach.” By the time he published his fourth album in 2007, his first three records had already sold one and a half million copies.
Shelton’s most recent album, a re-issuance of “Pure BS,” saw another three hits including “The More I Drink,” “Don’t Make Me” and “Home,” a cover of Michael Bublé’s hit single. Today, Shelton has produced 14 top-thirty singles including three number-one hit songs. His cover of “Home” continues to climb the charts.
